You will only be able to use your P2P Go Card once SARS has approved your VAT refund claim and your supporting documentation is in order. After approval, the refund will be paid directly onto your card. Processing times depend on SARS and may take several weeks.

Where can I use the P2P Go Card, and are there restrictions?
The P2P Go Card can be used worldwide at merchants, ATMs, and online platforms that accept Visa/Mastercard. Funds cannot be spent in South Africa — the card is designed exclusively for international use once you have left the country.
